What is KeraLase?

KeraLase is hair restoration treatment that combines the Lutronic LaseMD® laser therapy with the application of KeraFactor® treatment serum. The KeraFactor treatment serum contains seven proteins and growth factors that are used to help grow hair non-surgically.

KeraFactor serum is synthetically made specifically to grow hair. This serum is teamed with the Lutronic LaseMD laser — a device that creates tiny micro-channels in the scalp where the KeraFactor treatment serum is placed and absorbed.

What exactly is the KeraFactor treatment serum?

The Kerafactor treatment serum is a proprietary peptide blend of seven synergistic polypeptides and growth factors designed to assist in hair restoration.

The growth factors in the KeraFactor serum have been created specifically for hair loss, hair regrowth, and revitalization, and they work to increase the amount of hair in each hair follicle while also triggering keratin reproduction. The peptides support increased blood supply and the transition of resting hairs into the actively growing phase of hair growth. This process results in healthier, stronger, and thicker hair.

KeraLase treatment details

When you arrive for your KeraLase treatment, you will be made comfortable in a medical chair and provided with special goggles to protect your eyes from the laser. A topical numbing agent may be used on your scalp to make you more comfortable during treatment. The LaseMD laser will be passed over the needed areas of your scalp, creating micro-channels to open up your hair follicles.

This laser device uses a “stamp” method to create these micro-channels. After the laser has been passed over all the needed areas, the KeraFactor treatment serum will then be administered into the micro-channels. This is done simply by your provider rubbing the serum into your scalp with finger movements. Treatments are very fast — typically about ten minutes, making KeraLase one of the most convenient hair restoration options available.

Recovery and results

One of the best things about KeraLase hair treatments are that they require no downtime. Patients can go right back to their regular day after their session. For the best results, a series of six treatments scheduled every two weeks is recommended, followed by three treatments each year for maintenance.
