Every year SPARCC host a “Holiday Toy Store” which lets survivors pick out new toys for their children. The ability to provide gifts for families in a time of crisis, and transition, is so much more than meeting a tangible need. It encourages survivors not to give up, not to go back to the abuse. It’s also a beautiful reminder that they are not alone – there is a community of people cheering them on.
This year’s Holiday Toy Store will open from Monday, December 7th through Monday, December 21st. Each year, more than 125 children and their mothers receive gifts through this program.
Holcomb Kreithen Plastic Surgery will be collecting new, unwrapped gifts in their main lobby in Sarasota till the 11th of December.
