Your mommy makeover may also include liposuction, in which fat deposits are suctioned out through a hollow tube (cannula) inserted through strategically placed incisions in the skin. The recovery period following a mommy makeover procedure may last up to eight weeks; however, the length of recovery greatly depends on the extent of the surgery and how many cosmetic procedures are being combined.
