Frequently Asked Questions
What is diVa?
diVa is a popular in-office procedure that uses laser technology for gynecological health.
What would I experience during diVa?
diVa requires a disposable dilator (strengthened quartz dilator) that remains stationary during the procedure. This thoughtful design allows for comfort while delivering diVa’s automated rotation within the dilator. It is a well-tolerated 3-5 minute procedure. Patients will experience a slight pressure sensation. A topical anesthetic is used to ensure comfort.
What can I expect in the first 48 hours following diVa?
Patients may return to their daily routine with minimal discharge, spotting, or discomfort: however, depending on your customized treatment, your practitioner may recommend a personalized post-treatment regimen and include avoiding sexual intercourse or tampon use for a longer period of time.
