juvederm vollure xc

We naturally lose volume throughout the face as we age, and collagen production slows. This is especially true around the temples, cheekbones, eyes, mouth and lips. Juvéderm Vollure XC has been recently approved for the correction of “moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds”. As the newest entry in the Juvederm family of dermal fillers, this facial volumizer is said to last as long as 18 months — a full year longer than other injectables on the market.

Why Juvederm Vollure?

Juvéderm Vollure XC uses special technology, known as Vycross. Vycross technology creates a more connected gel, which can be molded, effectively, allowing the Practitioner to “lift” sunken skin sitting above it. Vollure is firm enough to fill the line, but soft enough to move naturally with facial expression.

In addition to the above, Advantages of Vollure include:

  • The new formula typically produces less swelling than Juvederm, which means shorter recovery time.
  • The gel also appears to last longer than other products, making it a better value for the price and the need for fewer injection sessions.
  • It is safe, well-tolerated product with reversible effects and minimal to no downtime
  • Non-invasive procedure completed in under 20 minutes
  • Long-lasting results last for 18 months
  • Restores volume to deepening facial folds for a natural-looking “lift”

Are You a Candidate?

Vollure XC is a smooth gel filler that restores volume to the face. The best candidates are seeking to fill moderate to deep facial folds. Ideal patients are those with age-related facial volume loss that has created a sunken appearance or asymmetry, as well as patients with fairly good skin elasticity and minimal if any sagging of the skin.

Vollure Injection Process

After a consultation to determine if Juvederm Vollure is the right injectable for you , Juvederm Vollure XC will be injected in small amounts to the treatment areas. This is an in-office procedure and typically requires only topical anesthesia, since Vollure contains lidocaine, a local numbing agent. Vollure is injected into/under facial folds and sagging tissues to provide a lifting effect. Vollure may be also used to correct hollowing in other adjacent areas of the face

The aesthetic results of Vollure injections are immediately apparent. Some patients may experience mild swelling that may last for several days. Other side effects may occur but are typically mild. These may include tenderness and bruising. If irregularities occur, Vollure may be reversed using a natural enzyme.

Patients may return to work and normal activities immediately after treatment.

Most patients find Vollure treatments less painful than other fillers, as Vollure may be injected deeper in the skin where fewer nerves are present. This also reduces the likelihood of bruising.

Vollure is also compatible with other dermal fillers in the Juvederm family, and can be used in combination with Juvederm XC for the treatment of fine lines.

Please schedule an appointment or call to determine if Vollure is the right treatment for you.
