Facelift Study

Are you having a Facelift and interested in participating in a clinical study?

Qualified study participants will be randomized to receive an additional study procedure for improving skin healing and skin quality with a helium plasma device.

Study Overview

  • This is a product evaluation study to understand treatment impact on skin quality.
  • The study procedure and all visits will take place in a doctor’s office.
  • You will undergo a one-time study treatment and participate in 7 follow-up evaluations over 6 months. You will be compensated for your time to attend follow-up appointments.

What to Expect During the Study

  • During initial and follow-up visits you will:
  • Undergo a physical exam
  • Have photos taken of your face
  • Provide your medical history (initial visit) and any updates (follow-up visits)
  • Complete questionnaires
  • Have a small punch biopsy (3–5mm) taken by your ear (during the procedure, at day 7 follow-up, and 6-month follow-up)

Basic Qualification Criteria

  • You must be at least 18–75 years old
  • You must be in general good health
  • You must be planning on having a facelift procedure
  • You must allow use of your photographs for clinical research purposes and possible publication

Additional Screening

Additional study entry criteria will be assessed by the study doctor.
