Facelift Study

Are you having a Facelift and interested in participating in a clinical study?

Qualified study participants will be randomized to receive an additional study procedure for improving skin healing and skin quality with a helium plasma device.

Study Overview

This is a product evaluation study to understand treatment impact on skin quality.
The study procedure and all visits will take place in a doctor’s office.
You will undergo a one-time study treatment and participate in 7 follow-up evaluations over 6 months. You will be compensated for your time to attend follow-up appointments.

What to Expect During the Study

During initial and follow-up visits you will:
Undergo a physical exam
Have photos taken of your face
Provide your medical history (initial visit) and any updates (follow-up visits)
Complete questionnaires
Have a small punch biopsy (3–5mm) taken by your ear (during the procedure, at day 7 follow-up, and 6-month follow-up)

Basic Qualification Criteria

You must be at least 18–75 years old
You must be in general good health
You must be planning on having a facelift procedure
You must allow use of your photographs for clinical research purposes and possible publication

Additional Screening

Additional study entry criteria will be assessed by the study doctor.

Study Details

This is a product evaluation study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new investigational device to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face.

You will undergo a one-time study treatment and participate in 6 follow-up evaluations over 6 months. You will be compensated for your time to attend follow-up appointments.
