Laser Assisted Cosmeceutical Delivery

The LaseMD 1927 nm thulium fiber laser creates microchannels in the skin through which cosmeceutical compounds (see below) can be more easily and effectively introduced into the skin (compared to topical application without LaseMD pre-treatment of the skin). Lutronic created their Cosmeceutical Delivery System by combining LaseMD treatment with LaseMD Ampoules of nanosome encapsulated cosmeceuticals (vitamin C, retinol, tranexamic acid, resveratrol) that are applied to the skin for enhanced penetration immediately after thulium fiber laser treatment.

Treatments require only topical anesthesia and are completed in under 20 minutes. Treatment areas include face, neck and décolleté as well as scalp (see Keralase). Conditions treated include epidermal melasma, skin photoaging, dyschromia and increased pigmentation and hair loss (see Keralase).

LaseMD Ampoules Series

VC Ampoule (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C (VC) is one of the strongest naturally occurring antioxidants that also promotes healthy collagen building for more youthful, healthier skin. It also helps to rejuvenate photoaged and photodamaged skin.

VA Ampoule (Retinol)

Vitamin A (VA), and more specifically retinoic acid, is proven to naturally turn back time on aging skin. The retinoic acid improves aging skin by switching on and upregulating genes to help the epidermal basal layer keratinocytes to differentiate into mature and healthy epidermal cells.

TA Ampoule (Tranexamic Acid)

Tranexamic Acid (TA) has been systematically used for decades to help wound recovery after plastic surgery. An unexpected side effect that doctors and scientists discovered was that it brightened skin, resulting in the use of compounds to address melasma.

RS Ampoule (Resveratrol)

The RS ampule contains prime grade (95% purity) Resveratrol, a naturally-occurring polyphenol, in nanoparticles combined with low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The amount of resveratrol in 1 RS ampoule is almost equal to the resveratrol content of 500 bottles of wine, and helps prevent against UV-related skin carcinogenesis and photoaging.
