BodyTite™ by InMode is a minimally-invasive body contouring procedure that delivers results which were previously only able to be achieved through more intense surgical procedures. BodyTite uses a technology known as radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL), which melts and removes fat, coagulates blood vessels, and tightens the skin all in one single treatment. BodyTite treatments are typically performed with local anesthesia, and mild sedation if needed. Treatment time is about 30 minutes. After the area is numbed, very small incisions will be made so that the probe can enter and emit the radiofrequency heat energy to the tissues.
After this part of the treatment has been completed, the probe will then be passed over the outside of the skin to trigger collagen and elastin production. During treatment, the heat levels are carefully monitored to keep patients safe, and to ensure that the areas are treated at the exact right level of coverage.
Some patients will need to wear a medical dressing for a few days. This will be discussed during your consultation. Most patients are able to get back to regular activities within 3 to 5 days, with exercise resuming in about three weeks.
Once the bruising and swelling have subsided (at about two weeks), you should be able to see some results. Final results can be seen at 3 to 6 months, with the collagen production continuing over the course of about one year.
