How BodyTite Works

BodyTite uses a probe that uses radiofrequency energy to gently melt and remove fat while also coagulating the blood vessels and tightening the skin, all in one convenient treatment. This advanced probe works both outside and inside the skin, tightening from the interior and exteriorly stimulating the production of brand-new collagen and elastin.

BodyTite is a body contouring procedure that utilizes directional radiofrequency energy to target excess fat, as well as tighten the skin and underlying tissues.

BodyTite Treatment Details

BodyTite treatments typically last 30 minutes. They are performed with local anesthesia and mild sedation (if the patient prefers). The area to be treated will be numbed with a solution containing local anesthetic and epinephrine, and then your specialist will create tiny incisions so that the probe can enter and emit the radiofrequency heat energy.

After the probe is finished within the skin, it will then pass over the outside of the skin, delivering radiofrequency energy to trigger collagen and elastin production.

During the entire treatment, the heat levels will be closely monitored to ensure patient safety, comfort, and efficiency of the treatment. For many patients, just one BodyTite treatment delivers significant, long-lasting results.

Recovery

Although recovery time is minimal with BodyTite (usually about 3 to 5 days), you may experience some swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness in the treated area(s). You may also need to wear a compression garment for a few days.

Exercise should be avoided for three weeks. Some patients have some skin unevenness for a few weeks following treatment, but this will subside as the fat cells settle. During your consultation, we will go over in detail what your specific recovery period will look like based on the areas you choose to have treated.

Results

Results are immediate with BodyTite, and the results get even better over the course of time.

Around two weeks following your procedure, the bruising and swelling will be nearly gone, and you’ll be able to see early results. Final results will become apparent in 3 to 6 months, with your new collagen production continuing to improve for about one year.
