What Should I Expect During the Procedure?

First, your surgeon will administer local anesthesia to prevent any pain. Then, they will carefully treat the target areas with the laser that has been selected. Typically, this will involve addressing each area of the face individually. Depending on the treatment's extent, the procedure can take anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours.

What Can I Expect From the Recovery and Results?

After your laser skin resurfacing, a special dressing will be applied to the treatment areas, and your doctor will give you thorough instructions for managing the healing process. It can take up to two weeks to fully recover from the procedure, but you should be able to resume normal activity almost immediately.
